Arcadis, the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks an experienced EHS professional in Milano to deliver environmental due diligences and compliance audits for complex projects.

With ~10 years in EHS due diligences and related consultancy, you will assess liabilities, define corrective actions, develop and audit ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems, and travel across Italy and abroad. A bilingual command of English and Italian is required.

Competenze

• Around 10 years of experience in EHS due diligences and related consultancy.
• Studies: degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences.
• Very good level (B2) of English and Italian.
• Knowledge of Italian environmental and H&S legislation.

Role accountabilities

• Environmental Due Diligences and Compliance Audits
• Identification of potential environmental liabilities due to past and current activities, including definition of corrective actions to meet legislative requirements and associated costs, mainly in the frame of pre-acquisition, merge and divestiture projects of commercial and industrial sites.
• Compliance audits aimed at assessing environmental, health and safety compliance against local legislation, internal clients and European standards.
• EHS consulting services.
• Development and implementation of EHS integrated management systems.
• Development and implementation of legal tracking systems, EHS training.

Qualifications & Experience

• Around 10 years of working experience in EHS Due Diligences, EHS Compliance Audits and related consultancy services.
• Studies: Degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences.
• A very good level (B2) of English and Italian.
• Knowledge of current Italian legislation framework regarding environmental and H&S requirements.
• Knowledge and Risk Assessment of Organizational Management systems according to Lgs.D. 231/2001.
• Development, implementation, and auditing of Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Safety (ISO 45001) Management Systems.
• Excellent abilities of analysis and synthesis.
• Excellent relationship skills and teamwork attitude.
• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
