MetLife is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Global Technology team in Rome. You will design, build and maintain core insurance applications, focusing on policy lifecycle processes, integrations, and AI-enabled automation.

Collaboration with business and technical teams is essential to deliver scalable solutions. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of software engineering experience, strong Java and/or .NET skills, API/microservices expertise, and fluency in English with native Italian

Competenze

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or .NET technologies.
• Experience with API-based architectures, microservices, and cloud-ready designs.
• AI competence and English fluency; native Italian speaker.

• Analyze insurance functional requirements across policy lifecycle.
• Design, develop and maintain core insurance applications and integrations.
