Company Overview
A leading organization in the tourism distribution sector, with over 50 years of experience and part of a major global group, is strengthening its IT department and is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the evolution of its digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems in the company’s application ecosystem.
- Perform unit testing, functional testing (in collaboration with business stakeholders), and integration testing.
- Carry out troubleshooting and regression testing to ensure solution quality and stability, providing effective fixes for any defects.
- Support release management activities in collaboration with the teams responsible for impacted systems.
- Work closely with the Architecture team and with internal/external functional and technical teams to ensure consistent and aligned system evolution.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce platform innovations, new features, and industry trends to propose improvements and innovative solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of external resource activities and project progress.
- Act as the owner of assigned systems/tools, collaborating across IT areas to provide expertise and support when needed.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience, preferably gained in the tourism sector or consulting firms, focused on Salesforce system integration and customization within Order Management and CRM domains.
- Proven experience in medium to large-scale IT projects.
- Strong technical skills in Salesforce development technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
- Specific experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Talend (certifications and/or knowledge of Mobile Publisher are a plus).
- Proficiency with Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, and version control systems.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using SOAP/REST web services and APIs.
- Solid understanding of requirements gathering, technical/functional analysis, integration design, and business process definition in the Order Management and CRM areas.
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand both business and IT complexities.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
