The Role: Senior Sales Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise customers across Italy. As a security expert, you’ll partner with Sales to advise on and deploy Trend Micro’s next‑gen cybersecurity solutions, shape client strategies, and build trusted relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the technical lead for enterprise customers in Italy
  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored security solutions
  • Deliver engaging technical demos and presentations
  • Influence customer security strategies through technical leadership
  • Respond to tenders and deliver product training
  • Guide deployments, troubleshoot, and ensure best practices
  • Travel across Italy for client engagements as needed
What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years as a presales / IT solution delivery, ideally with a cybersecurity focus
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity attack framework (i.e. MITRE®&CK) and reports (i.e. OWASP Top 10)
  • Public sector market knowledge and previous experience working with public tenders
  • Passion for security and solving customer challenges
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, web/email security
  • Clear communication and confident technical presenting
  • Experience with large enterprise environments
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Trend Micro technologies
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CIE, …)
