Vontobel Holding AG's Milan Branch is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee the second line of defense, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, monitored and reported in line with Group risk frameworks.

The role involves implementing the local risk management framework, coordinating with Compliance, Finance and first‑line units, and producing reports for the Board, Branch Management and Head Office while meeting Italian and EU regulatory expectations.

Competenze

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in financial services risk management, preferably in Private Wealth Management.
• Strong understanding of financial and non-financial risks and regulatory risk requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, independence of judgement and professional integrity.
• Affinity for AI and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain the local risk management framework aligned with Group standards.
• Identify, assess, and monitor material risks across credit, market, liquidity, operational, conduct, ICT, legal and reputational risk.
• Prepare and deliver regular risk reports to the Board of Directors, Branch Management and Head Office.
• Ensure compliance with Italian and EU regulatory expectations and support supervisory interactions.
• Escalate material risk issues and support internal controls and audit processes.
• Receive information from Compliance, Finance and first-line business units to support informed, independent risk assessments.
