RINA is seeking a freelance/independent Principal Electrical & Power (E&P) Engineer to lead technical direction across railway modernisation, electrification, signalling, telecommunications, fleet and infrastructure programmes in Ireland.

The assignment is up to 24 months with a blended model, approximately 50% attendance in Ireland and 50% remote working, as required by the programme.

Competenze

Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of railway electrical and power systems experience.
Experience designing, reviewing or assuring traction power, HV/LV distribution, electrification, substations, and related infrastructure, including 650V applications.
Strong knowledge of railway electrical standards, power integration, electrical safety and governance.
Ability to provide design reviews, compliance assessments, and engineering reports across multiple projects.
Experience in multidisciplinary railway environments with stakeholder management and technical leadership.
