Job summary

Prometeia is seeking a Senior Quantitative Python Developer to join its internal development team in Bologna. You will engineer scalable software for quantitative frameworks, define engineering standards, and industrialise library development with AI-assisted tooling.

The role focuses on engineering quality, deployment, and maintainability rather than novel quantitative methods. You will collaborate across quantitative teams, product, and delivery to implement production-grade solutions,

Qualifications

Advanced Python in scientific contexts.
Proficient with pandas and numpy.
Experience with Spark/PySpark in distributed pipelines.
Experience designing Python libraries for enterprise use.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with quantitative teams to translate requirements into robust software components.
Ensure integration of models and components into product libraries and frameworks.
Define architectures, standards, testing, and delivery processes for quantitative software.
Support other developers in design, reviews, and troubleshooting to improve code quality.
Contribute to evolution of ModelOps processes and library development workflows.
