The role requires extensive experience in quality management within oil & gas, along with ISO 9001 certification. The position is project-based with opportunities for international assignments and focuses on ensuring quality compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

As the Project Quality Manager, you will lead and implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) for major oil & gas and engineering projects. Act as the focal point for all quality matters, interfacing with clients, authorities, and project stakeholders to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and contractual quality requirements.

Location: Project-based (International assignments)
Experience Level: Senior (8-15+ years)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the Project Quality Management System across all project phases
• Manage Quality Control activities and ensure site QC implementation
• Conduct quality audits for vendors, subcontractors, and internal processes
• Plan and allocate quality resources across various project areas
• Interface with clients and authorities on quality matters
• Manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead Project Quality Management Reviews and prepare quality reports
• Ensure quality requirements are incorporated into contracts with vendors and subcontractors
• Train project teams on quality requirements and company quality campaigns

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification required

Experience:

• 8-15+ years in Quality Management roles within oil & gas, construction, or engineering projects
• Proven experience managing project quality systems and leading quality teams
• Strong background in quality audits and non-conformity management

Technical Skills:

• Expert knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Familiarity with international industry standards (ASTM, ASME, AWS, API, etc.)
• Experience with Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans
• Proficiency in quality management tools and reporting systems

Core Competencies:

• Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills
• Project coordination and leadership abilities
• Resource planning and workload management
• Contract review and vendor management
• Budget control and AFE processes
