Cumming Group Uk & Europe cerca un Senior Project Manager per guidare lo sviluppo di un grande progetto di data centre, dalla costruzione al commissioning, agendo come referente per il cliente e coordinando team multi-disciplinari e principali appaltatori.

Il candidato ideale ha esperienza in data centre, infrastrutture mission-critical o impianti industriali complessi, con gestione di stakeholder e controllo di progetto, costi e qualità.

Competenze

• Esperienza comprovata come Project Manager/Senior Project Manager o Construction Manager in grandi progetti.
• Tracciabilità di consegna di data centre, infrastrutture mission-critical o strutture complesse.
• Gestione di opere civili/strutturali, installazioni MEP e processi di commissioning.

Mansioni

• Guidare la consegna quotidiana delle attività di costruzione del data centre sul sito.
• Rappresentare il cliente, assicurando il raggiungimento degli obiettivi di progetto.
• Gestire appaltatori, consulenti e stakeholder lungo tutte le fasi.
• Supervisionare programma, costi, qualità e sicurezza.
• Monitorare avanzamento lavori e mitigare rischi di progetto.
• Coordinare reporting, governance ed comunicazioni con stakeholders esecutivi.
• Assicurare conformità a standard del cliente e normative locali.
• Supportare fasi di commissioning, testing e handover.
• Favorire collaborazione tra design, costruzione e operazioni.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale mission-critical development from construction through to commissioning. The successful candidate will act as the client's representative, overseeing contractor performance, project controls, stakeholder management and overall project delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a construction professional with a strong background in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or complex industrial developments, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and major contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of data centre construction activities on site.
• Act as the primary client representative, ensuring project objectives are achieved.
• Manage contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery.
• Oversee programme, cost, quality and health & safety performance.
• Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate project reporting, governance activities and executive-level stakeholder communications.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, industry best practice and local regulatory requirements.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities to ensure successful project completion.
• Drive collaboration across design, construction and operational teams.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrable track record delivering data centre, mission-critical, hyperscale, life sciences, industrial or advanced technology facilities.
• Strong experience managing:
• Civil and structural works
• MEP installations
• Mission-critical infrastructure
• Commissioning and integrated systems testing
• Main contractors and specialist subcontractors
• Complex stakeholder environments
• Significant experience managing contractor-led delivery on large and complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, programme management and construction contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety and quality management practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience delivering data centre projects for hyperscale, colocation or enterprise clients.
• Experience working within Italy or the wider European construction market.
• Understanding of Italian construction regulations, permitting requirements and supply chains.
• Experience managing projects through commissioning and operational readiness phases.
• Italian language skills advantageous.
