Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Grid & Power Quality Solutions team.

You will contribute to project delivery across GIS and AIS technologies, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure reliable power infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes technical leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and compliance with safety and contractual requirements, with a focus on energy transition initiatives

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 5/7 years of relevant experience in GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or EPC power plants.
• Able to work with multiple stakeholders and coordinate projects and people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Italian

How you’ll make an impact

• Leading and coordinating teams in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on low complexity projects.
• Leading single or multi-discipline engineering teams of less than 5 people.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degre in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 5/7 years of relevant previous work experience in GIS (gas insulated switchgear) and/or AIS (air insulated switchgear) and/or EPC power plants.
• Able to work with different and multiple stakeholders, proven expertise in coordination of projects and people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Italian

Salary

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows: Starting from: 52,700 € gross annual
