Job summary

Vertiv Holdings in Lombardy, Italy seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead the 3-year Global Operations Strategic Roadmap and cross-functional initiatives driving operational excellence across regions in a global, matrixed environment.

You will apply Lean, Hoshin Kanri and continuous improvement to manufacturing performance, coordinating strategy deployment from global to regional levels and partnering with senior leadership to deliver measurable benefits.

Qualifications

• Progressive program management experience in manufacturing operations.
• Global scope experience coordinating programs across multiple regions in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of strategy deployment methods (Hoshin Kanri, X-Matrix) and translating strategy into plans.
• Ability to influence cross-functional and cross-regional teams without direct authority.
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, and AI-enabled analytics.
• Interfacing with senior leadership and delivering executive-ready communications.
• Experience managing 10+ concurrent initiatives.
• Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Sales, IT, and Plant Operations.
• Change agent mindset and experience with Hoshin Kanri / X-Matrix workshops.
• AI literacy for project analytics and reporting automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic initiatives portfolio and ensure progress on schedule, budget, and outcomes across 3-5 years.
• Maintain visibility across active programs with standardized tracking, milestones, risks, and reporting.
• Coordinate Breakthrough Objectives across pillars and support annual strategy deployment.
• Provide project planning, milestone/scope/resource/financial/change management across the portfolio.
• Improve information quality for future decisions via benchmarking and best practices.
• Interface with stakeholders on status, constraints, and strategic decision support.
• Align cross-regional initiatives across Americas, EMEA, Asia with governance and escalation protocols.
• Facilitate cross-site sharing of best practices and read-across activities.
• Act as business partner in transactional complexity reduction and for new systems deployments.
• Support VOS deployment and governance integration to drive Lean and continuous improvement.
• Drive strategy deployment discipline linking 3-year objectives to annual targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate governance cadences and executive reporting for clear insights.
• Manage risk and contingency planning and provide benchmarking and adoption plans.
• Collaborate on project initiation, requirements, documentation, and implementation.
• Provide external benchmarking and best-practice adoption for strategic direction.

• Proven ability to influence across cross-functional and cross-regional teams without direct authority
• Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled analytics
• Experience interfacing with senior leadership and delivering executive-ready communications
• Excellent organizational skills managing 10+ concurrent initiatives
• Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Sales, IT, and Plant Operations
