Job summary

n8n GmbH is scaling its security practice and seeks two Security Engineers to identify and reduce risks across products and internal systems. You will partner with Engineering, Cloud, IT, and Data teams to embed secure design, perform threat modelling, and drive remediation across the stack.

You will contribute to vulnerability management, incident readiness, and compliance activities while advancing security tooling and processes in a fast-paced, Europe-wide team.

Qualifications

• Threat modelling and risk assessment experience on real-world systems.
• Ability to validate findings, reproduce vulnerabilities and create proof-of-concept code.
• Hands-on infra/product security experience within a product-focused company.
• Internal consultant mindset with influencing skills and ownership.
• Experience translating findings into actionable requirements and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modelling, risk assessments across product features and data systems.
• Review designs with engineering, cloud and data teams and define security requirements.
• Embed security into development processes with guidance and tooling.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and manage disclosure programs.
• Improve logging, detection, and incident response capabilities.
