Docebo is seeking a Senior Product Engineer I - Golang in Milan to join a cross-functional team building a world-class SaaS platform that powers learning at scale.

You’ll design, implement and deploy backend services in Golang, while collaborating with PHP/Node.js/TypeScript on the stack, frontend in Angular/React, and AWS-based DevOps. The role follows a hybrid schedule with opportunities for impact and growth.

Compensation: €41K – €54.8K

Bonus: This range represents our target hiring range for this position in Italy. In addition to base pay: This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus incentive. Payouts are based on individual and company performance and are not guaranteed. The final compensation, including the specific National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) level, will be determined during the interview process based on the candidate’s background and qualifications.

Tech Stack

Core Backend: We power our services using PHP, Node.js (TypeScript), and Golang. We are also embracing Serverless architecture, leveraging it specifically for our newest modules and features to ensure maximum scalability and speed of innovation.

Frontend Ecosystem: Angular is our main framework for web applications, though some of our cross-functional teams build components using React.

Mobile Development: We deliver high-quality cross-platform mobile experiences powered entirely by React Native.

Cloud & DevOps: Our entire infrastructure is fully cloud-native and hosted on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Engineer Excellence: Design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions that enhance the core functionality of our global SaaS platform.
• Collaborate Without Borders: Partner closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and QA legends to turn visionary concepts into high-performing features.
• Champion Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and beautifully documented code while participating in peer reviews to keep our standards sky-high.
• Crush Technical Debt: Proactively engage in refactoring efforts to boost system performance and ensure our codebase remains maintainable and modern.
• Solve Complex Puzzles: Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, identifying and resolving issues quickly to ensure our users always have a smooth experience.
• Live the Agile Life: Fully immerse yourself in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep our momentum and goals perfectly aligned.

Requirements

• 4 + years of experience in full-stack development
• Technical Versatility: You have recent, hands-on experience with Golang this is essential for the role. While background in other languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript/Node is a great plus, Go will be your primary focus day-to-day.
• Agile Expertise: You thrive in Scrum environments and possess a clear understanding of CI/CD processes and rapid delivery.
• DevOps DNA: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Testing Mastery: You have a passion for automation and experience with testing frameworks to ensure high-velocity delivery.
• Proactive Problem Solver: You have a "can-do" mindset and the diagnostic skills needed to fix complex issues with speed and efficiency.
• Collaborative Spirit: You are a dedicated team player who communicates effectively and takes full accountability for your work.
