A leader in luxury fashion is seeking a Senior Product Designer based in Milan. The role involves leading product design projects, generating innovative designs, and ensuring precise packaging execution in collaboration with external agencies. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in luxury beauty product design, strong CAD visualization skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, for its in-house Beauty Division has an exceptional career opportunity available for a Senior Product Designer based in our HQ in Milan.

You will be exposed to all aspects of a product, being involved in every stage of the process, from ideation, visualisation and industrialization.

As a senior, you will be expected to lead projects independently and drive design in a cross-functional global team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• IDEA GENERATION on New Product designs – ensuring a strict connection with the Brand and a consumer-oriented experience
• PRODUCT DESIGN on Primary packaging following Marketing team brief
• VISUALIZATION of the designs to present products beautifully
• PACKAGING INDUSTRIALIZATION ensuring the execution of the designs together with Packaging engineering dept. and packaging suppliers

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Strong background, with 5+ years' product design experience in the luxury beauty field or luxury product design
• An incredible eye for detail and high standards for creating exceptional work
• Sensibility for and understanding of fashion, color, product, trends and design strategies
• A strong knowledge of design & product development processes, especially in the world of beauty products (Fragrances / Makeup / Skincare)
• Ability to liaise with external agencies & Suppliers, providing creative direction & technical solution
• Excellent knowledge of CMF and production for primary and secondary packaging
• Exceptional CAD & Visualization skills
• Proactive, open-minded, and passionate about design & Beauty field
• Ability to think holistically about projects with multiple stakeholders involved
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required

Programs :

• 3D software (Rhino and Keyshot is a must)
• Adobe CC suite
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Basic 3D prototyping knowledge is a plus
• AI image generation knowledge is a plus
