Your Role

Experience Design sits at the center of Jimdo’s user-centric mindset. As a Product Designer in the team, you’ll help deliver easy-to-use value to our customers. You’ll bring empathy to understand our customers’ motivations and needs, apply functional design principles, and bridge technical and business requirements to unlock success for Jimdo’s business. A successful candidate will inspire through design while keeping customers at the center of everything they do.

Your Impact

• Run Continuous Product Discovery, from generative to evaluative studies, to understand our customers’ motivations and needs. Apply cognitive science and data-informed design to influence decision-making.
• Deliver visual yet functional design solutions, following best practices in interaction design and information hierarchy.
• Design at different levels of fidelity to articulate and simplify complex concepts, and develop functional prototypes for rapid testing and validation cycles.
• Adopt and contribute to our Design System to ensure coherence, consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility across a multi-device product portfolio.
• Collaborate across functions and departments to elevate the user experience and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in senior product design roles.
• Experience in SaaS business mechanics, with the ability to speak the language of metrics that inform decisions.
• Proven track record in product discovery and delivery; proficient with Design Systems and Figma.
• Experience designing for desktop and mobile; knowledge of Conversational and Assistive AI design models.
• Ability to simplify complex business concepts into functional prototypes for rapid testing and validation.
• Strong collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams; creative, organized, self-motivated, and business-minded.
