Job summary

La Fosse is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build and operate an enterprise-scale cloud platform on AWS. You will create internal tools and frameworks that enable teams across the business to deliver securely and efficiently in a complex, distributed organisation.

You will design and build internal platform tools and frameworks to standardise cloud operations, and you will run production-grade Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS while advancing Terraform-based infrastructure as

Qualifications

• Proven platform engineering experience building internal tools and frameworks.
• Proficient in Python or Go for automation.
• Advanced Terraform experience beyond basic provisioning.
• Production experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform at an advanced level.
• Architect AWS-native solutions and integrate AWS services effectively.
• Support governance, compliance and security standards across the platform.

Essential skills and experience

• Proven platform engineering experience, including building internal tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language used for automation and tooling.
• Advanced Terraform experience that goes beyond basic resource provisioning.
• Production experience with Amazon EKS, including building and operating Kubernetes clusters.
• Deep knowledge of AWS-native architecture and integration across AWS services.

Desirable skills and experience

• Enterprise-scale experience across multiple business units and complex organisations.
• Governance and compliance experience.
• Change management experience in large, distributed organisations.
• Experience with AWS Organizations and multi-account strategies.
• Knowledge of AWS security, IAM and VPC design.
