A prestigious multinational organization is seeking a Senior ERP Application Expert to enhance their IT capabilities in Bergamo. The ideal candidate will support business systems and collaborate with global teams on ERP modules, particularly in Sales and Distribution. A Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience in IT applications support are required, along with fluency in Italian and English. This role involves travel to European sites and contributing to global ERP initiatives.

Competenze

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT applications support and/or project implementation.
  • Strong functional expertise in ERP systems, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in ERP configuration and training.

Operating within a dynamic and international environment, the company is undergoing a significant transformation, transitioning from localized IT systems to a unified global platform.

Senior ERP Application Expert – Sales and Distributionsto strengthen their IT capabilities across the EMEA region.

The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting business systems for the site in the Provincia di Bergamo and other EMEA locations, working closely with the global IT team on projects and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain Oracle ERP modules, focusing on Order Management, Logistics, Quoting, and Pricing.
  • Support application processes, including third-party integrations (e.g., CPQ, CRM, Customs, and Trade Compliance).
  • Collaborate with BI tools to analyze data and create reports that visualize business insights.
  • Conduct data analysis to resolve system issues and support production.
  • Translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Implement changes to workflows or business processes, introducing new procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate IT testing programs and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide training and support to key and end users, acting as the bridge between super users and developers.
  • Develop IT solutions and prepare end-user documentation.
  • Contribute to global ERP rollouts, enhancements, and integration activities within EMEA.
  • Ensure effective change management across the organization and foster alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and technology teams, including other departments and business units.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support the adoption of application best practices.
  • Participate in Kaizen events for process optimization and guide change management efforts.
  • Travel to other European sites as needed (up to 20%).
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT applications support and/or project implementation.
  • Strong functional expertise in ERP systems, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in ERP configuration, setup, enhancement, and training.
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and Logistics processes.
  • Experience managing IT delivery through remote/onsite teams and external partners.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Exposure to international work environments beyond Italy.
  • Functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, or Configurator.
  • Previous experience in supervisory or project management roles.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
