Your day at NTT DATA

Based in Milan, NTT team will collaborate with customer’s IT team locally and internationally focusing on Network and Network Security infrastructure.
You will work on IT environment mainly focused on Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, Vmware Velocloud, Riverbed technologies.
Being a member of this project, you will have the opportunity, at the same time, to join NTT, leader in Network Managed Services, and to work with a multinational company leader in Eye wear and Eye care industry, continuing to evolve your competencies and skills.

What you'll be doing

As a Network Engineer L3, you act a role of Senior Technical Specialist dealing with consultancy and implementation of medium/high complex projects and supporting the Network Operations team in fixing complex infrastructure issues.

Your main responsibilities will be:

As-Is analysis of customer infrastructure, discussion of project requirements, design execution;

Define and execute the POC with customer;

Perform configurations and more complex troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle of the projects;

Projects governance;

Assist in maintenance and change management activities;

Prepare HLD, LLD documentation and technical project presentations.

IT educational background;

At least 5 years of experience as Network Engineer in a medium complex environment;

Cisco Certifications (CCNP). It is a plus to have other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware);

Excellent organizational and communication skills;

Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team;

Strong Customer oriented approcah;

Ability to express a technical leadership;

Coach junior profiles within the service team when necessary;

Proficient in Italian and English language (French is a plus);

Available to travel aboard when required by customer;

Available to be part of on-duty scheduling.
