Jobtailor in Trieste, Italy seeks an experienced Motor Pricing Analyst to support the pricing team across data collection, modeling, tariff development, and quotes.

You will develop analyses, run scenario tests, and maintain technical documentation, collaborating with stakeholders while staying aligned with group practices; fluent Italian and English required.

Mansioni

• Provide support to the Motor Pricing Team across data collection and exploration, predictive modeling, Motor Tariffs development or review, corporate and automotive quotes, and Technical Price definition.
• Develop technical analyses aligned with Group Best Practice throughout the whole tariff process.
• Collect and prepare data for analysis and modeling.
• Perform Overall Rate Requirement analysis.
• Conduct technical analyses using advanced statistical techniques for risk and behavioral models.
• Perform scenario testing to evaluate the impact of different tariffs on portfolio performance.
• Regularly assess model and analysis quality and correctness.
• Develop reports based on updated predicted KPIs.
• Maintain alignment with Group best practices and update technical documentation.
• Independently develop Fleets and Automotive quotes.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in quantitative subjects, such as Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics
• 5–7 years of experience in Motor pricing within insurance companies or consultancy firms
• Advanced knowledge of the Tower Watson Suite (Emblem & Radar, Classifier) would be a plus
• Proficiency with SAS, Python, and Office suite, including VBA for Excel
• Advanced analytical skills using GLM/Machine Learning approaches
• Expertise in Fleets and Automotive quotes would be a plus
• Ability to work independently and interact with different stakeholders
• Curiosity about new approaches to pricing and commitment to continually increase technical knowledge
• High problem-solving attitude
