Job summary

Klarna in Milan is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own credit modelling pipelines and production deployments. You will write production Python for credit underwriting models, build and maintain the ML infra, and deploy models at scale using AWS SageMaker.

You will work with a cross-border team in Stockholm, Warsaw and Milan to scale in-house data science capabilities and ensure robust, observable ML systems.

Qualifications

• Production Python for ML: building end-to-end ML systems.
• Experience taking models into production and owning them.
• Hands-on with tree-based models and ML pipelines.
• Understand ML lifecycle, versioning, tests and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Write Python to train credit underwriting models for production.
• Build infrastructure for the ML pipeline from feature compute to retraining.
• Deploy models in production using AWS SageMaker and maintain them.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues end-to-end and scale capabilities.
