AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, seeks a Senior MES Software Engineer to join the Europe MES Delivery team. You will lead design, development, and deployment of MES solutions, interfacing with SAP, PLCs, and SCADA, while ensuring performance, security, and customer value.

The role is customer-facing, requires hands-on technical leadership, and involves travel up to 25% across Europe to implement and workshop requirements. Fluency in English is essential.

Competenze

• Experience with MES systems; AVEVA products is a plus.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor integration.
• Fluent in English.

Mansioni

• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, and code reviews.
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and system performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain MES solutions built with AVEVA products.
• Integrate with external systems (e.g., SAP, PLCs, SCADA) as part of MES architecture.
• Author system acceptance test criteria based on formal requirements and ensure customer requirements are met 100% in a timely fashion.
• Conduct unit testing and system testing as per the test plan.
• Site commissioning of the MES Solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in manufacturing environments.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Travel up to 25% to customer sites for workshops and implementations.
