MITO Srl in Torino seeks a Senior Linux Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based embedded systems, including Yocto and Buildroot integration.

You will customize the Linux kernel, develop drivers for LTE/5G, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, GNSS, and ensure security, hardening, and robust networking across multiple interfaces. Strong scripting in Bash and Python, plus debugging expertise, are essential.

Competenze

• Extensive experience with Linux (kernel, user space, networking).
• Programming in C, Bash, Python.
• Embedded systems: bare metal, RTOS.
• Knowledge of Yocto and Buildroot toolchains.
• Security: secure communications, code and system hardening.
• Familiarity with GCC, CMake, ARM toolchains.
• Advanced debugging: core dumps, GDB.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues in embedded environments.
• Documentation of procedures and internal guides.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of C++.
• Experience with CAN and MQTT protocols.
• Knowledge of embedded device standards (e.g., RED EN 18031).
• Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools.
