Job summary

MSC Cruises is seeking an experienced Customer Data & Identity Technical Senior Lead to drive the evolution of the Customer Master Data Management and Identity platform and lead the internal technical delivery team in Naples.

The role translates business priorities into scalable solutions, defining architecture across data platforms, APIs, and integrations while coordinating with security, governance, and enterprise teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture or technical delivery within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and governing customer data, MDM, identity resolution or customer data platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and evolution of the Customer Data & Identity platform.
• Lead the internal delivery team in Naples and coordinate external vendors.
• Design, review and approve end-to-end architectures for data, APIs and integrations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and document trade-offs and risks.
• Govern delivery across teams and validate estimates and release readiness.
• Maintain engineering quality through reviews, testing, and observability.
• Drive platform scalability, resilience and technical debt management.
• Provide senior leadership for production incidents and root-cause analysis.
