Overview

Edelman Italy is seeking a Senior Influencer Manager to join its Influencer Marketing team in Milan. As a core member of the team, you will lead the development and execution of creative and measurable influencer campaigns for top-tier clients in the Italian market and beyond. You’ll work within a dynamic, cross-functional environment, in close collaboration with public relations, digital, creative, and paid media teams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Leadership
  • Design and write strategic influencer marketing plans tailored to each client’s objectives.
  • Identify, engage, and manage content creators across platforms.
  • Oversee execution of influencer activations—both online and offline.
  • Manage budgets and track campaign performance using relevant KPIs (owned, earned, paid).
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality work on time and in line with client expectations.
Client Management
  • Act as the strategic point of contact for a portfolio of key clients.
  • Provide daily counsel and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Help drive account growth and renewals through trusted advisory and business acumen.
Agency Growth & Thought Leadership
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and agency growth.
  • Represent Edelman’s influencer expertise in media, events, and industry conversations.
  • Help elevate the influencer marketing discipline within the Italian team and the wider Edelman network.
Integration & Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in PR, creative, strategy, and digital.
  • Contribute to Edelman Italy’s integrated approach to campaigns and client service.

  • Strong knowledge of the influencer landscape in Italy, with solid experience managing creator partnerships and campaign performance.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving social media ecosystem and influencer trends.
  • Strategic mindset and creativity to propose bold, innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to pitch and defend ideas persuasively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
  • Analytical mindset with a good grasp of campaign KPIs and measurement tools.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in influencer marketing, ideally within an agency or in-house team.
