newcleo is seeking an I&C Technician who will collaborate with the Lead Fast Reactor R&D activities, focusing on the definition and selection of on-line instrumentation and automation devices for experimental facilities.

You will perform instrumentation, control, and automation checks in the design phase, propose test programs, assess instrument selections against ENEA facilities, develop estimates, and coordinate manuals, while working with multi-disciplinary teams and other staff.

Competenze

• Technical diploma in Electronics or Automation required.
• About 15 years of I&C and automation experience.
• Knowledge of industry instruments and regulatory codes.
• Experience with field instrumentation and PLCs.
• Understanding of design/analysis principles for large systems.
• Fluent in Italian (C1+) and basic English (A1).

Mansioni

• Perform instrumentation, control, and automation checks in design phase of test facilities.
• Propose specific test programs for testing and tuning instrumentation.
• Assess consistency of I&C component selection vs ENEA facilities.
• Develop or review discipline material quantity estimates.
• Oversee commissioning of R&D facilities for proper instrumentation and automation.
• Coordinate staff from other units dealing with I&C design during facility operation or maintenance.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Prepare or review facility operation manuals.
• Coordinate assigned work with other technical personnel as directed.
