RINA is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Plant Engineering team in Italy. You will lead I&C projects from proposal through final reporting, coordinating with peers and interfacing with clients and vendors to ensure robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in I&C consultancy for oil&gas or power, excellent English and Italian, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Competenze

• 7+ years of consultancy experience in I&C for oil and gas and power generation (onshore/offshore).
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team on complex projects.
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods as required.
• Knowledge of international standards for Instrumentation, Control, Safety, Telecom and F&G.
• Proficiency with MS Office and instrumentation software tools.

Mansioni

RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior I&C Engineer to join its office in Fano, Genoa or Rome, Italy within the Plant Engineering Division.

Mission

Join RINA as a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to contribute to and lead projects within our I&C Team. This role involves collaborating with peers, executing engineering projects, and playing a key role in the technical decision-making processes of the Division.

Key Accountabilities

The engineer will be responsible for executing Projects within the division, interfacing and coordinating with others. The candidate will be responsible for his technical duties and potentially those of his Team and will refer through the Division hierarchy. Duties will include the execution of engineering projects from the proposal phase to the final reporting, and they will interface directly with clients and vendors, representing the Company and the I&C Department. Ability to develop in autonomy the various steps required in designing instrumentation, control, safety, F&G and telecom systems, including preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, architectures, layouts and lists. He/She can also be required to review the design documentation developed by others, perform Capex, technical bid evaluations, and the Vendor’s follow-up. Involvement in the technical decisional processes of the Division.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Master’s Degree in Automation and Control Engineering or Electronics

Qualifications

• More than seven years of consultancy experience in I&C for the oil and gas and power generation industry (onshore/offshore).
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on diverse and challenging activities.
• Proficient in working within a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects.
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods based on project needs.
• Working knowledge of international standards for Instrumentation, Control, Safety, Telecom and F&G detection systems.
• Proficiency in PC use (MS Office) and common commercial software tools for instrumentation.
• Good command of spoken and written technical English and fluent Italian.

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €45000 and €55000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
