Job summary

Aldebaran Group in Italy (Lombardy) seeks an HV Electrical Engineer to lead high-voltage installation design for industrial facilities, with a focus on renewable energy and green hydrogen production. You will ensure performance, reliability, and compliance of HV architectures while supporting project teams through the full lifecycle.

The role requires senior HV/MV expertise, experience on large-scale energy projects, and proficiency in HV calculations and ETAP.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in HV/MV electrical engineering.
Proven experience on large-scale industrial or energy projects, ideally in renewable energy or green hydrogen.
Strong knowledge of power transmission and distribution systems.
Proficiency in HV electrical calculations and industry-standard simulation tools (e.g., ETAP).

Responsibilities

Define, optimize, and validate the electrical architecture of HV installations.
Coordinate design and sizing studies of HV/MV/LV installations.
Participate in technical bid evaluations and discuss with contractors/suppliers.
Advise project teams on green hydrogen constraints and energy integration.
Propose innovative technical solutions for energy transition.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design consistency.
Contribute to the company's technical and quality framework for hydrogen projects.
