A luxury hospitality establishment in Milan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting. This role involves managing the full accounting cycle, overseeing VAT compliance, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality sector, and will be fluent in Italian with strong English skills.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in structured environments or the hospitality sector.
• Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP and VAT regulations.

Mansioni

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger and payroll postings.
• Oversee VAT compliance, including preparation of monthly and annual VAT returns.
• Handle electronic invoicing (SDI) and compliance with Italian regulation requirements.
• Prepare monthly closings and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate statutory reporting and assist auditors during quarterly reviews.

Conoscenze

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting

Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP and VAT regulations

Strong familiarity with e‑invoicing and the SDI system

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

Ability to work independently with attention to detail

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
