You will collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver features and ensure code quality through testing. Ideal candidates should have over 3 years of experience in startup environments, strong skills in TypeScript, and familiarity with Node.js frameworks. This role offers a full-time freelance contract with competitive salary ranging from €45k to €60k.

Tasks

• Design and develop scalable backend services in TypeScript
• Work closely with product and frontend teams to deliver new features efficiently
• Write clean, testable code with unit and end-to-end tests
• Contribute to architectural decisions and backend best practices
• Help evolve our service-oriented backend ecosystem

Requirements

3+ years as a Backend Developer in startup / scaleup environments

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and RESTful architectures
• Experience with at least one Node.js-based backend framework
• Solid testing habits (unit + E2E)
• Basic understanding of relational databases

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with NestJS
• Knowledge of Magento v2.4.x
