Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks a Senior Fire and Life Safety Engineer (AE) for its Technical Operations across the EMEA region. You will act as the Authorising Engineer, governing fire safety across data centre life cycles from design to maintenance, coordinating with operations, engineering, HSE and vendors.

You will develop standards, perform risk assessments, and lead incident investigations while mentoring engineers to strengthen FLS capability across STACK EMEA.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Fire and Life Safety engineering in mission-critical environments.
• Advanced knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems.
• Strong understanding of how Fire and Life Safety interfaces with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with design review, commissioning and technical assurance.
• Knowledge of EN 13501, NFPA 72 and European codes.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on Fire and Life Safety across the EMEA portfolio.
• Develop and maintain standards, specifications and policies.
• Serve as the AE for STACK EMEA Fire and Life Safety Rules.
• Review designs and commissioning docs to support QA and handover.
• Conduct site audits and risk assessments of Fire and Life Safety systems.
• Develop maintenance requirements and SOPs, EOP documentation.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate across interfaces to improve safety and resilience.
• Coach engineers and operations teams in FLS capability.
