Zirak is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for an automotive project based in Turin, Italy. You will develop and integrate embedded components, BSPs, bootloaders and device drivers for platform software and AUTOSAR Classic.

The ideal candidate has strong C for embedded systems, experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet, AUTOSAR integration, and scripting/build tools. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams and contribute to bring-up and debugging in a hybrid on-site role.

Competenze

• Strong embedded C proficiency.
• Experience with BSPs, bootloaders and device drivers.
• AUTOSAR Classic Base Software integration and configuration, especially DCM, DEM, Communication Stack and Memory Stack.
• Experience with embedded OS integration and platform software.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience with Python, Make or CMake, shell scripting, Yocto.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate automotive communication drivers and protocols.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong professional experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems.
• Experience with BSPs, bootloaders and device drivers.
• Experience with embedded operating systems and platform software integration.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and related drivers, including CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
• Experience with AUTOSAR Classic Base Software integration and configuration, particularly DCM, DEM, Communication Stack and Memory Stack.
• Experience with embedded software development tools and build environments, including Python, Make or CMake, shell scripting and Yocto.
• Strong experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex embedded systems.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Programming experience in C++.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux or QNX kernels and hypervisor technologies.
• Experience with SoC bring-up.
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity technologies, including Secure Boot, Secure Diagnostics, HSM and CSM.
• Experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator or DaVinci Developer.
• Experience working on Infotainment or Connectivity platforms, including TCU systems.
• Experience with Autonomous Driving systems or automotive High-Performance Computing platforms.
• Knowledge of the Italian language.

Location

Hybrid position based in Turin, Italy, with a required onsite presence of three days per week.
