The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating electrical engineering activities and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Responsibilities

As Team Leader

• Plan, coordinate, execute and control the electrical Engineering activities for a Project or a Tender in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in-out information flow.
• Responsible for manhours and monitoring cost impacts of technological solutions associated to project development.
• Identify tools for adequate efficiecy improvement.

As engineering specialist

• Endorsement of client’s technical documentation.
• Coordinates and controls electrical engineering subcontracted activities & documents.
• Taking part in definition of electrical engineering requirements.
• Prepares project design criteria for electric system.
• Defines the configuration of the electrical system and prepares the single line diagrams.
• Performs electric system models & calculations and defines ratings of equipment / systems (power demand, load flow, short circuits, transient stability, motor starting, harmonics, grounding).
• Prepares relay and metering schemes, protective relays coordination study and setting tables.
• Defines the functional philosophies for the electrical system control (load control, synchronization, load shedding, reacceleration and restarting).
• Prepares technical documentation (specification, data sheets and inspection data sheets) for electrical equipment and materials.
• Prepares technical documentation (specification, data sheet and inspection data sheet) for electrical equipment included in package units.
• Prepares the Material Requisition (MR) and prepares the technical evaluations.
• Provides technical support to procurement department in purchasing activities.
• Performs the follow up of electrical equipment supply and check / review of Vendors technical documentation.
• Provides support to expediting and testing activities.
• Develops electric system plot plans and main cable routings.
• Performs power cables sizing.
• Prepares electric substation layout arrangement.
• Prepares interconnecting wiring diagrams.
• Checks and review electrical cable lay down documentation.
• Checks and review electrical network layout documentation (grounding, lighting, cathode protection, electric tracing, connection boxes).
• Define electrical network (grounding, lighting, cathode protection, electric tracing, connection boxes) materials selection and typical installation details.
• Checks and review electrical material take-off (MTO).
• Prepares technical specification for electric systems installation.
• Prepares input data for the feedback dossier.

Competences

• Capability to work in a multicultural enviroment.
• Aptitude to the coordination of work team.
• Good in English language.
• Good knowledge and practice of main MS Office programs (Excel, Word).
• Good knowledge of Autocad.
• Good knowledge of electrical design tools e.g. Ampere, ETAP, Dialux, Dehn risk tool etc.
