Nature Portfolio, part of Springer Nature, is launching Nature Mechanical Engineering and seeks an Associate or Senior Editor to join the editorial team in a hybrid model based in Milan and Madrid.

The role requires a PhD, broad scientific knowledge, and excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to lead manuscript assessment and oversee peer review. Postdoctoral or editorial experience is desirable; the closing date is 1 October 2026.
