Nymphis Technologies in Emilia-Romagna is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their agile team. You will be responsible for implementing security and automation in cloud environments, optimizing CI/CD processes, and managing complex infrastructures.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools. This role is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated infrastructures in a dynamic environment.

Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will work in a multicultural, flexible, and agile team following scrum methodologies, ensuring best practices and high availability in CI/CD for multiple microservices and teams. Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls and automation in a DevOps environment within public clouds.
• Define the need and assess relevant tools to address security & automation challenges within cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize a highly complex infrastructure and CI/CD setup.
• Collaborate with the Scrum teams to share the responsibility of managing the CI/CD process, particularly for individual microservices.
• Prepare application setup and infrastructure scalability for high load scenarios, high availability scenarios, and zero downtime deployments.
• Manage Cloud and On‑Premise services such as Atlassian stack and Email servers.
• Engage in the creation, deployment, and maintenance of microservices infrastructure.
• Customize configurations for distinct product types in line with complex business rules.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of our Azure‑hosted servers.
• Automate repetitive tasks rather than doing them twice.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in managing cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.

Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Kyma and knowledge in managing enterprise applications on Kubernetes is desirable.

Scripting expertise in either Bash or Python.

Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, and Git Actions.

Experience with microservices architecture, specifically Spring Boot and AWS Lambda Functions.

Understanding and experience with serverless programming.

Knowledge of tools like Kuma, Kompass, Helm, and SAP Commerce Cloud will be considered an added advantage.
