Job summary

Malwarebytes Inc. is seeking a sharp, security-minded Principal DevOps Engineer to lead our AWS-based infrastructure and CI/CD practices. You will architect and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform, enforce security at every layer, and drive automation across the organization.

You will mentor the team, engage with executives on platform strategy, and guide cross-functional projects. You will own site reliability for production systems, define engineering standards, and push for automated,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience, with AWS at scale.
• Terraform expertise; IaC security as seriously as app security.
• Strong GitHub Actions experience; Jenkins a plus.
• Security tooling like GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config.
• SRE practices including SLOs, observability, and post-mortems.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines with automated security scanning.
• Champion infrastructure security and vulnerability management.
• Define SLOs and build observability and alerting using CloudWatch.
• Own production incidents end-to-end from detection to resolution.
• Maintain build and release environments; develop automation/tools for apps.
