We are looking for a profile that lies at the intersection of industrial and service design.
The designer will be part of the design team which cross-functionally works with Product Managers, Full stack Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Regulatory Specialists and Data Scientists to develop meaningful products that improve people’s lives and healthcare knowledge around the world. According to the seniority, the role might also deal directly with the management, given that Empatica has a relatively flat organisation which encourages proactivity and impact over formality.
The designer will lead the investigational expansive phase, supporting the cross-functional teams with service designer tools and practices, being able to empower the contribution with a strong industrial design sensitivity and keep exploring the boundaries when the hardware comes into the game.
