A global energy technology leader in San Giuliano Milanese is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to engage in designing components for transformer accessories. You will manage projects, coordinate technical verifications, and work with a team to ensure the energy supply's stability. Successful candidates should have a degree in engineering, extensive CAD knowledge, and project management experience. Fluency in English and local language is essential, alongside problem-solving skills and creativity.

Competenze

• Several years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of industrial processes: die/sand/shell casting, plastic injection moulding, metal sheet bending, CNC machining.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and local language (minimum B2 level).

Mansioni

• Be part of projects as manager or sub-project manager.
• Design of components for transformer accessories.
• Plan and coordinate tests for technical verification.

What challenges can you expect?

• Be part of projects as manager or sub‑project manager
• Design of components for transformer accessories
• Design of static and dynamic assemblies in conjunction with manufacturing, production and suppliers
• Answer technical questions regarding the relevant products (Sales, order processing, technical service, complaint management, customer)
• Plan and coordinate tests for technical verification
• Create part numbers and BOMs using ERP

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in mechanical / industrial / electrical engineering
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Very good CAD knowledge (Solid Edge and AutoCAD required)
• Knowledge of industrial processes: die/sand/shell casting, plastic injection moulding, metal sheet bending, CNC machining
• Knowledge of FEM calculations desirable
• Knowledge of ERP logics
• Project management experience
• Interest in engineering correlations
• Enthusiasm and commitment to take on challenging tasks
• Fluent in spoken and written English and local language (minimum B2 level)
