A leading engineering firm in San Giuliano Milanese seeks a Senior Design Engineer for transformer accessories. The successful candidate will manage projects and design components, engaging with manufacturing and suppliers. They should hold a degree in engineering, possess several years of relevant experience, and have strong CAD knowledge. Proficiency in English and local language is required. This position offers dynamic challenges and opportunities in project management and engineering processes.

Competenze

• Several years of relevant professional experience requested.
• Knowledge of industrial processes including die casting, plastic injection molding, and CNC machining.
• Fluent in English and local language (minimum B2 level).

Mansioni

• Manage or assist projects as manager or subproject manager.
• Design components for transformer accessories.
• Plan and coordinate tests for technical verification.

For our location San Giuliano Milanese we are looking for you as :

Senior Design Engineer for transformer accessories (m / f / d)

What challenges can you expect?

• Be part of projects as manager or subproject manager;
• Design of components for transformer accessories;
• Design of static and dynamic assemblies in conjunction with manufacturing, production and suppliers;
• Answering technical questions regarding relevant products (Sales, order processing, technical service, complaint management, customer);
• Planning and coordinating tests for technical verification;
• Part Number and BOM creation using ERP.

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in mechanical / industrial / electrical engineering;
• Several years of relevant professional experience requested;
• Very good CAD knowledge (desirable Solid Edge and AutoCAD) required;
• Knowledge of below industrial process requested :
• Die / Sand / Shell casting
• Plastic Injection molding
• Metal sheet bending
• CNC machining
• Knowledge of FEM calculations desirable;
• Knowledge of ERP logics;
• Project Management experience;
• Interest in engineering correlations;
• Enthusiasm and commitment to take on challenging tasks;
• Fluent in spoken and written English and local language (minimum B2 level);
• Problem solving and creativity are appreciated;
• Teamwork and communication skills.
