Job summary

Chiesi Research & Development in Parma, Italy, seeks a Data Scientist to design and deploy advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions across the drug development lifecycle. You will work with clinical trial data and real-world data, translating complex datasets into actionable insights to improve decision-making and accelerate evidence generation.

The role requires strong data science expertise, experience with healthcare data, and collaboration with Global Clinical Development and Digital teams.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare tech.
• Strong knowledge of ML/AI, predictive analytics, and statistical modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and deploy ML/AI solutions for Clinical Development.
• Work with clinical trial and real-world data to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Global Clinical Development and Digital teams to implement analytics solutions.
• Ensure solutions are reproducible, scalable, and compliant with regulations.
