What you'll do

- Validate and critique models across a wide range of applications (credit risk, marketing, fraud detection, forecasting, etc.)

-Work closely with model developers to improve quality, transparency, and documentation

-Build benchmarking models and design rigorous test methodologies

- Influence model governance and help shape Klarna’s standards around model risk management

Requirements

- Strong experience in building statistical and machine learning models

- Solid foundational knowledge in mathematics and statistics

- Proficiency in Python and SQL

Ideally, you have:

- An academic background in Physics, ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or Biology

- Prior experience as a Senior Data Scientist, ideally within a regulated environment or fintech context
