team.Blue is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and govern a central data ecosystem in Italy, delivering high-value data products for 60+ sub-brands. You will own the data platform, drive architectural decisions, and partner with analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate complex needs into scalable technical solutions.

You will lead ETL/ELT pipelines, ensure data quality and lineage, and mentor junior engineers while advancing CI/CD practices in a cloud-first environment.

Competenze

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data management.
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, STEM, or related quantitative field.
• Track record deploying stable, high-performance data solutions that drive measurable business value.

• Data Platform Ownership: Own, manage, optimize our Data Infrastructure including Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Gitlab & AWS.
• Data Product Innovation: Design and deliver scalable data products as a unified source of truth across 60+ brands.
• Pipeline Engineering: Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with high availability and low latency.
• Architectural Leadership: Lead secure, cost-efficient data architectures with governance in mind.
• Governance & Integrity: Implement data governance, lineage, metadata management, data quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate requirements.
• Platform Optimization: Tune indexing, query performance, and schema evolution.
• Mentorship: Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence.
