Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. seeks a Data Cloud & Marketing Cloud Technical Architect to join the Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group.

You will lead design and implementation of enterprise-grade Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud solutions, acting as the Data Cloud SME and ensuring secure, governed data architectures. Qualifications

• Direct experience designing and configuring the Data Cloud (Data 360) platform for enterprise use cases.
• 2+ years of direct experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
• Knowledge of AMPScript and SSJS is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in professional services.
• Deep knowledge in MDM, Data Distribution, and Data Modeling concepts.
• Ability to document solutions with data flows and tech artifacts.
• Translate client requirements into technical solutions for Data Cloud/Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API patterns and cross-cloud integration.
• Lead inter-team meetings and conduct testing/validation.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel 25%–50%.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary authority for Data Cloud to support project delivery and AI initiatives.
• Create architectural design documents and ensure integration of Salesforce into customer infrastructure.
• Design enterprise data architecture with emphasis on governance and security.
• Provide guidance on integration development, architecture standards, and environment management.
• Lead code reviews and set coding standards (SQL, SSJS, AMPScript).
• Facilitate executive stakeholder communications and align tech with business value.
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and manage risk to ensure successful resolutions.
