Our client is the Italian Branch of a European multinational company and is an international leader in the Renewable Energy sector, with a strong presence in the Solar Market. To strengthen its international structure while enhancing its presence in the Italian market, it has commissioned us to search for a Senior Business Development Manager.

Position:

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development in the Renewable sector.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Develop a portfolio in accordance with the budgeted volume and input parameters.
  • Maintain partnerships with existing customers, aiming to upsell services.
  • Manage legal, technical, and administrative tasks with support from internal and external teams.
  • Review and finalize contracts, including co-development agreements, land lease/purchase agreements.
  • Prepare, implement and execute a BD strategy in the Italian market under the supervision of the CEO.
  • Regularly report to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum of proven experience in development of Renewables sector in Italy
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by clear and effective project plans and executive level reporting to ensure timely action and decision making in time-pressured scenarios
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field (MBA will be a plus)
