Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist to lead analysis method development for gene editing and nucleic acid therapies. You will drive assay development, qualification, and control strategies, while overseeing CRO/CDMO activities and ensuring data integrity within a matrixed CMC team.

The role supports a European-wide base with hybrid/remote options and a minimum salary framework starting at €59,000, with a comprehensive bonus and benefits package.

Competenze

• MSc in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry or related field.
• 5–10 years in biotech/pharma with exposure to gene editing, CGT/ATMPs, nucleic acid-based products, and lipid nanoparticles.
• Strong expertise in cell-based assays and potency development for gene editing platforms or mRNA-LNP products.
• Advanced bioanalytical techniques including flow cytometry, reporter assays, and gene editing readouts.
• Experience with outsourced analytical development (CROs/CDMOs) and data integrity.

Mansioni

• Define and lead bioanalytical and potency assay development for gene editing/ nucleic acid therapeutics.
• Oversee assay qualification/validation and develop control strategies.
• Manage outsourced analytical development activities and CRO/CDMO oversight.
