Job summary

Douglas Milan Office is seeking an IT Data Analyst to lead the BI roadmap and ensure SAP-native data models align with the internationalization journey. You will work with local and corporate teams to drive data integration and AI-enabled reporting.

The role requires strong SQL and Microsoft BI skills, Azure/Microsoft Fabric familiarity, and English proficiency for collaboration across Southern Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 6+ years in Data Analytics/BI with growing autonomy and responsibility.
• Experience coordinating vendors, technical teams, or BI projects.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSMS, Power BI, Power Automate).
• Excel (advanced skills) and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft Fabric; interest in AI for reporting and data quality.
• Interest in data ecosystems (dbt, Snowflake) and SAP S/4HANA data model.
• Knowledge of Python for analysis, automation, and integration.
• Excellent English for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead BI platform roadmap aligning with internationalization.
• Coordinate BI data integration with SAP and local/corporate teams.
• Evaluate and introduce AI solutions for reporting and self-service analytics.
• Coordinate external vendors on implementation, enhancements, maintenance, and delivery.
• Gather requirements and translate into analytics, reporting, and KPI solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and alignment with Group policies.
• Manage demand, priorities, and planning independently.
• Serve as technical reference for cross-country coordination.
