Senior BackEnd Developer – Strategic Project

Join Fabrick as we launch a new strategic fintech project. You will be part of a young, dynamic team focused on collaboration, goal orientation, and professional growth.

As a Senior BackEnd Developer, you will be responsible for developing fintech applications based on microservices, primarily built in Java. You will collaborate with Developers, DevOps specialists, functional analysts, and PMs to design, build, test, and deploy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and integrating fintech solutions on a microservices platform
• Managing troubleshooting activities
• Integrating third‑party services and handling related technical issues

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Spring
• Experience with Git, Maven and CI systems
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Expertise in microservices development paradigm
• Experience with profiling and tracing tools
• Experience in writing unit tests (functional and integration) with Spring and mock frameworks
• Strong problem‑solving skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Unix operating systems
• Understanding of networking with a focus on TCP protocol
• Skills in reactive, non‑blocking programming
• Knowledge of distributed cache concepts
• Experience with Kafka or similar tools
• Ability to handle issues from log analysis/distributed tracing down to server drill‑down
• Familiarity with AI tools for software development
• Knowledge of German language
