Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Automation Tester to join the AlinIQ Product R&D organization in Italy. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests for server, web, and cloud informatics products, and build out automation tools and scripts.

You’ll collaborate with software engineers, QA, business analysts, cybersecurity, and other teams in Agile Scrum to improve testing coverage and quality. The role requires 5+ years in software development or test automation, proficiency in

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in software development or test automation.
Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Proficiency in SQL or other RDBMS.
Fluent in English (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated tests for server, web and cloud informatics products in cross-functional teams.
Develop and execute black and white box tests across containerized and networked components.
Design, script, and automate test cases for test driven development and continuous testing.
Understand application architecture and hosting infrastructure to assess integration risks and craft strong test cases.
Perform peer testing reviews, define criteria for testing, and present results to developers and stakeholders.
Provide testing documentation in conformance with regulatory, security, and privacy standards.
