Area Sales Manager / Project Sales Manager

For our client, a leading international company in the design furniture sector, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager/Project Sales Manager responsible for Tuscany and Latium, reporting to the Sales Director Italy. You will act as a brand representative in the retail and prescription channel. The main objectives are to identify and subsequently manage projects in the assigned area, including travel in the assigned area.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Promotion and sales of the company products.
  • Scope of work: Florence, Rome, Tuscany, Lazio.
  • Management of the assigned portfolio of contacts, composed of Architects, Interior Designers, and Investors of the Contract channel (residential real estate, offices, and hotels).
  • Responsible for identifying and following up key designers and developers in the mentioned area working in the luxury real estate sector.
  • Establish and develop new business contacts within the Contract channel (architect, interior designer, investor).
  • Lead processing up to the creation of the opportunity, offer and final sale.
  • Management, processing and reporting of the activity generated through CRM.
  • Management of own portfolio of projects (pipeline) with the objective of reaching the agreed sales volume.
  • Reporting to the Sales Director and coordination with other members of the sales team.
Requirements
  • Senior profile with 5 - 10 years of experience.
  • Commercial experience in the prescription and contract channel.
  • Experience in dealing with high-end brands and products.
  • Experience in managing medium to high volume projects.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Higher technical training, preferably in architecture, interior design or engineering.
  • Available for occasional mobility throughout the national territory to meet the needs of managed projects.
  • High orientation to results and objectives.
  • Very valuable speaking English.
  • Driving license.
