A leading sensor technology startup in Milan is looking for an Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer to join their team. You will play a key role in developing cutting-edge analog circuits for MEMS applications. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in CMOS circuit design and proficiency with simulation tools like Cadence and HSPICE. Based in Grenoble (FR) and Milan (IT), iNGage is a start‑up company which is bringing to market disruptive high‑performance MEMS inertial sensors (accelerometers, gyros, IMUs) and pressure sensors for GPS‑free navigation in autonomous mobilities.

With a patented breakthrough technology developed at CEA‑Leti in partnership with PoliMi, we push the limits of high‑performance MEMS navigation sensors to make them accessible to high‑volume applications such as industrial robotics and automotive.

Responsibilities

As an Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer, you will have a central role in the development of cutting‑edge analog circuits for MEMS interfaces.

Your responsibilities will include

Analog / Mixed Signal circuit design, simulation, prototyping and testing : Develop analog circuit architectures, including amplifiers, filters, converters (ADC / DAC), phase locked loops (PLL), signal conditioning circuits, voltage regulators, etc.

Specification and modeling : Contribute to drafting technical specifications with the architect and modeling the analog behavior according to product requirements.

Simulation and validation : Perform simulations (Spice, Cadence, etc.) to verify circuit performance and optimize designs based on the results.

Interdisciplinary collaboration : Interact with MEMS, digital, and system designers to ensure the optimal integration of analog into the final product.

Prototyping and testing : Participate in prototyping and laboratory test campaigns for functional validation and performance characterization.

Innovation and technology watch : Propose innovative solutions to meet new challenges in MEMS and analog domains and stay informed about the latest technological advances.

Documentation and reporting : Write technical reports and design documentation, ensuring that development processes follow industry best practices.

Desired profile

Degree : Msc or PhD in electronics, microelectronics, or a similar field.

Experience : At least 5 years of experience in analog / mixed signal circuit design (CMOS, BiCMOS) in the semiconductor industry or a design house.

Language skills : Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential, Italian is preferred, French is a plus.

Key skills

Expertise in analog / mixed signal circuit design in CMOS or BiCMOS technologies, with strong proficiency in simulation tools (Cadence, HSPICE, etc.).

Experience in analog and mixed signal modeling with hardware description languages as Verliog-A or SystemVerilog.

Experience with MEMS analog interfaces is a significant advantage.

Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO26262 standards applied to circuits is a plus.
