Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Senior AI/ML & Edge Computing Engineer in Italy to lead advanced engineering activities across software and hardware domains. You will engage in conception, requirement management, development, testing, integration and validation, driving complex projects within an international team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer/Electronic/Telecommunications/Aerospace Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (PhD is a plus).
• Proven experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering and IVVQ activities.
• Willingness to continuously update expertise and design innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand customer needs through advanced studies, simulations, models, prototypes.
• Formalise specifications and architecture for client solutions.
• Prepare and carry out integration, verification and validation tests.
• Define test plans and procedures for system level testing.
• Ensure technical coherence of system design, interfaces and performances.
• Design the architecture of the command and control system.
• Demonstrate the solution to the customer.

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML & Edge Computing Engineer

PROFILE: You have graduated with a Master’s degree Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering,
Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related fields
(PhD is a plus)
You have a proven experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering and IVVQ activities
You want to update your expertise continuously and design innovative solutions to fit your customers’ needs
